Sometimes I'm amazed at the dinkiness of some giveaway blogs. They ask you to jump through hoops, twittering and FB-liking and signing up for emails... to win a product worth less than $5. The more amazing part is that people will do all that!
But then there are the great giveaways, the blogs where every last contest is a winner. The offerings at Thrifty Jinxy fit the bill to a T!
Right now they are running some really great giveaways. There are 3 in particular which would be really appreciated in my household.
First up, tickets for Yo Gabba Gabba live. Most giveaways I've seen for the YGG are for the region the blogger lives in. Thanks, but tickets in Minneapolis won't do me any good. This giveaway lets you choose a venue from the national tour, (makes sense, huh?) I'm really curious to see Plex and the gang on stage -- unlike in most stage shows, these characters will look exactly like they do on the telly, though perhaps bigger than my child would expect. (ends 9/22)
Second, a Little Looster giveaway. We all share a single bathroom and right now Li'l Lentil's potty takes up valuable floor space. Sooner or later she's going to need to learn to use the big potty, and the Little Looster will help her feel safe and secure when she does. (ends 9/21)
Third, a Thomas the Train Wooden Railway giveaway. I need to get Li'l Lentil a train set. I really have no excuse. Thomas is the Daddy of all train sets, the best iteration, and the Thomas and Belle to the rescue set is a complete playset on its own, (though of course you could expand if you wanted!) This would be a "hide it until Christmas" set, because it is that good! end 9/22
As a side note, it looks like Thrift Jinxy is experimenting with different entry forms, google docs versus Rafflecopter. I wonder which they'll go with in the end!
