We're getting ready to move Toddler Lentil out of her infant seat (Graco Snugride) and into a convertible. We're lucky that she's a Tiny Thing and we've been able to put it off this long. The Graco was not a tough decision and it worked really well for us. But this next one seems a bit more challenging. The main problem is we have a smallish car (a Corolla) and the seat needs to fit without taking over the car. Beyond that, it's safety, safety, safety, and a nod to comfort.
We want to keep her rear-facing as long as possible.
Side impact protection: very important.
Toddler Lentil's comfort: very important.
