
Seeing as I was such a picky eater, it's amazing how unrestricted my daughter's appetite is. My daughter will eat anything.
No, really. Receipts, picture books, paperbacks, letters, packaging, she'll eat 'em all. Napkins? Bring em on! Snotty tissues? Even better! Wash cloths? If she hasn't it's not for lack of trying.
Food? Well, not so much. She's mastered the skills of "keep my mouth closed, turn my head away," quite well, thank you. Some days she's all open mouthed, shove it in. But usually not.
Why is it that "My ABC's" and "The Cat in the Hat" strike her as more of a meal than, oh, I don't know, applesauce? Perhaps I should split the difference and feed her alphabet soup.
